Entrepreneurs unite!

We all have a few things in common, and curiosity is one of them. Without it, we can become stagnant once the industry starts to change, new ideas surface and if we don’t listen to our clients needs and wants we feel the pinch of being left behind.
I have felt the effects of products in my industry being rebranded and clients wanting an upgrade. If I hadn’t listened to them, I’d still be selling old stock and eventually they’d be the curious ones moving on to a more innovative business owner.

“Listening to our clients, watching their behaviours and buying strategies is quite psychological”

Learning about the industry and where the future is headed is why business owners need the drive of curiosity.

4 Principles To Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur3
This brings us to the next common interest, self-motivation, which is an essential quality to have to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
No one is going to create your business, build it up and hand over the keys. A successful entrepreneur may have a team under them creating content, uploading posts and assisting in daily communications through social media networks, though this is not how they first started out.
We all are the same, as individuals running the show, we begin doing it on our own. From singular to team, we need the daily motivation to follow through boosting our profile, to be seen and heard. A plan is what successful entrepreneurs follow; affirming their goal, acknowledging their challenges and finding the activity to implement to make success happen.

4 Principles To Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur4

Looking for a plan to follow? Here is a good start; 4 Principles To Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur!

1 AFFIRM

Creating an affirmation of your goal is the first step. Start with “I am” and write in present tense as if you are already living it. Be specific, the universe is listening. Think of the 5 senses; Smell, Taste, Touch, Sight and Hear. Bring these qualities into your vision. When you put out into words the needs and wants of your goal, you put a demand on yourself. Supply comes to those with demands.

2 ACKNOWLEDGE

Ignoring the challenges and fears that creep up is by far the most damaging to your business. Keeping busy is not the answer to success. Taking a moment out of your day, identifying the resistance to moving forward closer to your goal will set you free from unhealthy habits. Ask yourself, “What may stop me from getting to where I want to be?” Think about the challenges, fears, emotions; externally and internally.  Acknowledge them by writing each one out.

3 ACTIVITY

When we think of a goal and the doing part, a ‘To-Do’ list is created, yet, successful people have a step before taking action.  They step into who they need ‘To-Be’ first.  Ask yourself, “Who do I need to be to rise above the challenges?” Give yourself the time to know what it takes to move through the fears. Working on each one will help you to become closer to your affirmation.

4 ACTION

It’s easier said than done; write a list, do the action! Without identifying the resistance, working through it and affirming the goal you desire, self-motivation is impossible. The Law of Attraction is an example of how action without self-motivation can keep you stagnant. Like attracts like. You can follow a to-do list and check off everything you sign yourself up to, feeling accomplished but if you don’t set out a goal, you’ll only attract more of what you don’t want.
This is when an action plan is so much more than just a to-do list. An action plan is still very much a list of what needs to be done in order to achieve your goal. The difference is the order in which you do each task. Prioritise tasks by putting them into categories of hard work, smart work, easy jobs and less important jobs.
Knowing when to do each task is where successful entrepreneurs have become masters. For there to be a good level of positivity, understanding the way energy flows throughout the day is key.

Knowing when to do each task is where successful entrepreneurs have become masters. For there to be a good level of positivity, understanding the way energy flows throughout the day is key. MASTERING THE ACTION PLAN As a starting point choose a time frame to work with, 9am till 5pm is a perfect example. Break up the day into two hour blocks and insert the tasks per category. The beginning of the day between 9am and 11am is where hard work should come into play. Do the challenging tasks first. This is our Yang mindset. The 24 hour chi-cycle, Traditional Chinese Medicine, display time frames as energy flowing through each organ. This powerful stage between 9am and 11am is where energy is flowing through the spleen. Utilising the power to deal with problematic tasks will be effective compared to any other part of the day. The next section is from 11am to 1pm, where smart work is to be expressed. This is a time frame to speak from the heart to which is where the energy is flowing. When we move into the next time frame of 1pm to 3pm, you can feel a shift in energy as this is when the masculine flows into feminine. The Yin mindset. Changing our focus from hard-smart to easy-less important needs to take place for a successful day at work. Slow down, enjoy lunch and fuel your small intestine. When you come back from lunch, put aside the challenging tasks and bring forward the ones you marked as easy. When 3pm arrives go down your list and look for the less important jobs. Take it easy before the day is done. Being in the go-go-go mode all day long creates stress and then it’s harder to wind down in the evening. Start winding down during the bladder stage where the energy flows in your feminine energy. When 5pm arrives change your mindset to thinking of a fun activity. Your kidneys are yearning for excitement. Re-energise yourself with laughter. Change the scenery, go for a walk, play music, enter a yoga centre for a workout. Playing is as important as working. When you you play and work, rest is in order to recuperate. The three fundaments to becoming powerful; Play. Work. Rest. = PWR I have designed a template of this “PWR PLAN” I offer in my Free online program where you can implement it into your day to succeed. Click here to get your printable copy.
